Did you have breakfast this morning? It’s the most important meal of the day, especially if you’re trying slim down. Eating a good breakfast in the morning is essential to keeping your metabolism up and boosting your energy throughout the day, says dietitian Patricia Bannan in a recent Metro article. She says that when you wake up “you’ve been fasting for at least eight hours, so you need to eat within two hours.” Bannan says that a good breakfast “should be at least 200 calories and contain some protein and fiber.”
